Purpose :

 

Fun-filled adventure weekend at a 337-acre wilderness, former pioneer homestead property, situated in the scenic Madawaska Valley.

 

Topics:

  • 1-night’s accommodation at an off-the grid rustic cabin situated in a scenic wilderness, 4 meals included
  • Survival Skills workshops
  • Nature Lore and Hiking, learning about edible and medicinal plants
  • Pioneer history and skills, living off the grid
  • Campfire and star-gazing
  • Visit to “Al Capone’s Hideaway"
  • Pancake and Maple Syrup Breakfast at Mapleton’s

    A great weekend for family, friends, outdoor enthusiasts…….. (winter program includes snowshoeing)

Location is near Quadville, one-half hour northeast of Bancroft, Ontario.
